Serving Loudon County Since 1958

Loudon County Fire/Rescue (LCFR) was founded in 1958 as the Loudon County Emergency Rescue Squad, beginning with just four dedicated volunteers. The team originally responded to vehicle accidents, urban search and rescue, and water-related incidents. In 1959, the department expanded its mission to include fire suppression, officially becoming Loudon County Fire/Rescue.

Loudon County Fire/Rescue proudly holds the distinction of being the first member of the Tennessee Association of Rescue Squads to provide both fire and rescue services in the state.
